2020
A Swipe Right and a Summer Night
Madelynne and Volodymyr matched on Hinge in Chicago and went on their very first date on July 27th, followed by a magical swim in Lake Michigan. Just two months later, Volodymyr made it official and asked Madelynne to be his girlfriend under the glow of floating lanterns in Wisconsin.
2021
Big Moves and New Beginnings
Madelynne graduated from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Shortly after, she and Volodymyr packed up all their belongings for an epic cross-country road trip to their new home in San Francisco, ready to take on their first “real adult” jobs in design and tech.
2022
Adventures and Firsts
Life in San Francisco was full of fun, a little work, and lots of family trips. The two dove into their careers, ran their first-ever 10K, traveled across the U.S., and took Madelynne’s baby sister Chloe to Disneyland for her 6th birthday.
2023
Holidays Around the World
Madelynne and Volodymyr embarked on their first international trip together, celebrating the holidays with both of their families across the UK, Poland, Czech Republic, and the Netherlands.
2024
A “Yes!” and a Celebration to Remember
During a dreamy photoshoot in Thailand’s Phi Phi Islands, Volodymyr got down on one knee and popped the big question! Months later, they celebrated their engagement surrounded by their closest friends and family at the breathtaking Jacuzzi Vineyards in Sonoma, California.
2025
Milestones and Wedding Prep
The couple celebrated their 5-year anniversary, enjoyed a holiday visit from Volodymyr’s parents, and continued planning their dream wedding in Spain—all while excitement built for the big day!

From childhood daydreams about their future weddings to now celebrating Madelynne’s marriage to Volodymyr, Andrea is thrilled to stand by her lifelong friend as the Maid of Honor.

Whether they were getting into childhood mischief or celebrating life’s big moments, Vitaliy and Volodymyr have always shared an unbreakable bond.
Although they now live across the world from one another, their connection remains strong, and Vitaliy is honored to stand by his brother’s side as his Best Man.

Since 9th grade, Lilly and Madelynne have been inseparable, always cherishing their time together. Even as fourteen-year-olds, they enjoyed “grown-up” activities like manicures and dining out at nice restaurants.
Lilly remembers how excited Madelynne was after her first date with Volodymyr. She is overjoyed to see her friend marry this kind and loving man and is excited for their future together.

Chloe is thrilled to be the Flower Girl for her big sister! Despite their 16-year, 11-month age gap, Chloe and Madelynne have always been as close as sisters can be.
She loves spending time with the bride and especially with her soon-to-be brother-in-law on their fun playdates, which often involve adventures to the science museum and movie nights.

Adam is the groom’s adorable two-year-old nephew and he’s is ready to steal the show as the Flower Boy! He’s sure to melt hearts as he makes his way down the aisle.
Whenever Adam and his uncle are together, giggles aren’t too far behind. Their bond is filled with games of peak-a-boo, and silly moments together.
